A result from the mission I did to Ukraine last year was an agreement with the CO to support with a small grant activities related to Open Government and the Ukraine National Action Plan.
The CO continued the engagement they had with the National E-governance Center and developed this proposal which calls for the creation of a e-governance knowledge hub to beet internal public sector capacity with a focus to strengthen service delivery.
We have agreed to contribute 30k for our global programme and the CO is chipping in 10k. Although the total amount seems small, it should be noted that the e-gov center in Kiev has no programming budget available. It is expected that both seed funding and good results will change this and direct local resources to the center.
