Beta Laptop

I received a message from the OLPC team informing me that I will be receiving a B laptop early this week for testing purposes. The unit is being FEDEX to my office. I saw a similar machine a couple of weeks ago when a rep from OLPC based in NYC came to my office and showed me the machine.

I was very impressed with the B laptop, especially with the software that has been developed to allow kids to share tools and information and work together on all sorts of projects. It is also tiny and light, and kids will undoubtedly embrace it as soon as they see it.

More on this later as I will for sure play with the laptop for a bit.
